Google is launching its new mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 8a, which will cost 549 euros. Like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, the 8a comes with seven years of updates, which include security updates and Android version upgrades.

The Pixel 8a, like the Pixel 7a, has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, covered with Gorilla Glass 3. The Pixel 8a will start at €549 in Belgium and the Netherlands, which is €40 more than the Pixel 7a at launch. The device can now be pre-ordered and will be available physically starting May 14.
