While Google is usually very quick on leaked information, the Pixel 6 Pro appears to have appeared “early” in a video posted to Twitter.
The fact that Google announced the phones in August was an attempt to curb alleged leaks. The manufacturer also indicated that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will use the Tensor chip, which took a lot of time to develop. However, it appears that the leakers got their hands on a physical device. At least, if we were to go to the video below. M Brandon Lee of This is Tech Today tweeted the clip.
Apart from that, Google owns its device Not hidden under chairs or benches. We already know what the new phones will look like. hardware design in Video It appears to match the dummy devices Google showed off in its New York store. Only the alternate Google logo may still cause some suspicion. The phone in the video also appears to have a punch-hole selfie camera and all the physical buttons are on the right side of the device.
Similar to Pixel 6 Pro
At first glance, the look matches that of the Pixel 6 Pro renders that Google itself shared. The smartphone features a metallic finish and a glossy frame around the camera island. This differentiates the Pro model from the regular Pixel 6’s darker matte frame.
Remarkably, the screen in the video is on. It’s the first time we’ve seen a device like this, save for a new ad from Google itself. Unfortunately there is not much to see. It’s the same screen that Google is showing with Android 12 setup. The smartphone will have a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It remains to be seen when Google will reveal the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro in more detail. There is also nothing known about pricing and release date. If we can carry on with previous years, we’ll find out sometime in October.
