The Licensing Committee made the first decisions. Three clubs will not obtain a professional license (for now). But what about other clubs?
We previously wrote that KV Oostende, Patro Eisden Maasmechelen and Franks Borains have not received a professional licence. Only RFC Liège received a ticket to the Challenger Pro League.
That's not all. The Licensing Committee announced that the three aforementioned clubs will start next season with a three-point difference.
The standard will be followed up in the coming months, but no further. However, that seems to be the end of the matter Rosh Closed in recent days. Antwerp must then impose a fine of 50,000 euros.
Also striking: only five clubs have not received any feedback from the Licensing Committee and will not be followed up in the coming months. These are Club Brugge, CA Gent, Union SG, KRC Genk and Sporting Charleroi.
Which clubs should be on their guard in the coming months?
All other professional clubs – from the traditional G5 group, and that's just RSC Anderlecht – will be placed under supervision in the near future. In the case of purple and white, it is primarily financial regulations that must be followed.
