Patro Eisden will play his match in the Professional Challenger League tonight against Dinzi with reservations. The great reason behind this is that referee Simon Borduhoy lives a stone's throw from the Dins Stadium.
High tension in the Professional Challenger League tonight, because the top match in the title clash is on the program with the match between SK Dainese and Patro Eisden. Dinzi, in second place, has barely three more points than Limburger, who is in fifth place. The stakes are therefore high and this is also evident from the amazing move made by Patro Eisden, who announced that he will play with reservations tonight.
Reason for this booking: Referee Simon Bordedhoy appears to live near Dakota Arena, Dean's home stadium. The integrity of the competition is therefore at risk, says Patro Isden. The club wrote on its private channels: “Given the importance of the match and at this stage of the competition, we find it incomprehensible and unacceptable to appoint a referee who lives a stone’s throw from our opponent’s stadium.” “We also believe that it is not appropriate for Simon Borduhoy to be appointed to this competition.”
Patro Eisden has already raised the issue with the referees' management and hopes to appoint a new referee.
