Hyte has released a new version of its Y70 cabinet. This is a version of the previous Y70 Touch, but without the touchscreen. This essentially makes the Y70 a larger version of Hyte's previous Y60, but at €229.99, it's significantly cheaper than the Touch.
the Hight Y70 It is a modified version of the Hyte Y70 Touch that was released last year and which Tweakers wrote a review about. The Y70 Touch was particularly unique due to the touchscreen on the tilted part of the case, on which, for example, status updates or other information could be displayed. The Y70 was an upgrade from the Y60 and proved very popular, according to Hyte, but users wanted a version without the screen, according to the company. So the Y70 is also an upgrade over the Y60, but the housing is essentially cheaper. While the Y70 Touch still costs €399, the “regular” Y70 should cost just €229.99.
The Y70 is still a mid-range dual-chamber ATX case with dimensions of 470 x 320 x 470mm on the outside. The case has four PCI expansion slots and Hyte includes a pre-installed riser. Users can install three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans at the bottom of the case, as well as a 360mm fan on the side and a 180mm fan on top.
Despite the lack of a touchscreen, the Y70 still has a slanted corner with glass sides and front panels. USB ports are also located at the bottom of this slanted part. Hyte is selling the locker immediately for €229.99.
