Cegeka ICT Group continues to grow strongly. Fiscal year 2023 ended with revenues of €1.03 billion, a significant achievement for the company of Chairman of the Board Andre Knippen and CEO Stijn Peijnens. This year, Cegeka plans to grow again by 36% to reach 1.4 billion euros.
“The year 2023 can be described as one of the most important years since the founding of Cegeka. For the first time, we exceeded a turnover of more than one billion euros,” says Andrei Knaipin, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cegeka. “We have gone from a European player to a global ICT player in one fell swoop,” says Stijn Bijens, CEO of Cegeka, which is active in about 20 countries and has more than 9,000 employees. “We now have a strong position in regions where we were not active before, such as the United States, Canada, Colombia and India.”
In the annual IFRS accounts, Cegeka recorded consolidated sales of €988 million, a 19% growth compared to 2022. These sales do not include contributions from Nexuzhealth and Smartschool, as they are not under the exclusive control of Cegeka.
“If we were to include the initial Nexuzhealth and Smartschool figures, we would arrive at a group turnover of €1.03 billion. The operating result is €168 million (63 million in 2022) and includes significant one-off revenues and costs. Stijn Bijnens promises further growth: “We have invested heavily in technologies such as AI, cloud and 5G in recent years. We will continue to do so in the coming years.
