IOS 14.6 beta code contains images of unannounced Beats earplugs. 9to5Mac reports this based on its own research. The earplugs are called Beats Studio Buds in the beta version of iOS, but it is not known that this will be the official name.
9to5Mac reports The Beats Studio Buds are completely wireless and come with a charging case, just like the AirPods from parent company Apple. The earplugs will also support active noise cancellation, 9to5Mac writes.
The earplugs will also receive some other AirPods-like functionality. For example, Studio Buds Pro has a chip that allows users to easily connect earplugs to their Apple products. Siri is also supported via Studio Buds.
It is unclear when Apple will announce the new Beats earplugs. The company launches in June Apple Music Lossless The company will likely introduce new Beats earplugs at that time as well. Apple will be holding a presentation for WWDC on June 7. This event is primarily dedicated to software-related announcements, although the company occasionally announces new products during WWDC.
