Developers who allow users to create an account for iOS processors should soon give Apple the option to delete that account.
Apple will implement its new guidelines on January 31, 2022. Application developers must meet those strict requirements to release their app on iOS, iPadOS and macOS. In addition to the option to delete accounts, Apple has implemented a series of new guidelines. The technology company has already delivered during the Apple Global Developers Conference in June. The purpose is to give users more control over their own data.
As On the edge Writes, Apple will soon be asking developers to ask their app users to delete their account in the app. So it is quite possible that you will be redirected to the website of the publisher in question. News traffic may still be involved with customer service, but the threshold for action is already very low. If you want to get rid of paid apps that they no longer use, it can be a little easier this way.
Holes in iOS apps
It remains to be seen how practical these new rules for publishers will be for end users. Some app developers will still try to use the holes to keep you on board.
Additionally, the App Store pages on iOS 15, iPadOS15 and macOS Monterey (still in beta) now receive a new report-release button. You can notify Apple when an application reveals problematic behavior or makes a fuss about your subscription. This feature is currently only available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. Apple will then release the button to other areas.
