Eli Esserbet dominates cyclo-cross this season, but in Boom there are two new pretenders to the throne at the start. Can Eli Eserbet win a fourth in a row in Super Prestige or are Woot van Aert and Tom Bidcock immediately problematic?
I just want to have fun today. Hope it gets better and better. This may sound silly, but it’s hard to make a rash on it. Things might go well or I might end up far in the background.

It’s still somewhat unclear how Wute Van Aert will perform after a well-deserved break. Last year, Boom’s cross was Van Aert’s third cross, and now he’s only diving into the field for the first time. The Belgian champion is certainly a favorite on the podium, but last year he also had to warm up three crosses before he could win. So his focus is on the end of the year period. Can he smash pots into a bum yet?
Eli Eserbet looks stronger than last season: in nineteen crosses he has already won 12 times. Toon Aerts has been his biggest competitor to date, but with Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock, two big names have been added. Will Esserbit remain on the throne of cyclocross?
