Many football fans have been asking themselves a lot of questions about Kevin De Bruyne’s future in recent weeks. After the European Championship elimination by France, the midfielder spoke about his future with the Red Devils, but little was known about his plans at Manchester City.
The national team captain has just one year left on his contract in England, sparking rumours he could leave this summer. Options included an attractive move to Saudi Arabia. However, it now appears he will stay at City.
This was reported by the American media The Athletic. The sports branch of the New York Times claims that they expect Manchester City will not leave De Bruyne, as well as goalkeeper Ederson, this summer.
However, the 105-cap international had recently indicated that he was open to negotiating with Saudi clubs. However, De Bruyne now appears to have decided against the big money, although he could still make the move in the future.
Manchester City expect both Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson to stay this summer, despite recent reports that they have reached personal terms with Saudi clubs.
