The Kneistival, an established value on the Belgian coast for decades, promises to be an unforgettable event again this year during the festive weekend of 21 July. With a series of free shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at the Heldenplein in Knokke-Heist, Kneistival provides the perfect end to a sunny day at the beach or the perfect addition to a visit to the nearby animation festival in Ravelingen or the new HEY Museum.
This year's lineup is more impressive than ever. In addition to the return of superstars such as Admiral Freebee and Flemming, and energetic performances by Les Truttes, Kneistival also welcomes De Mens and Helmut Lotti go metal, as well as young talents eager to be discovered. The festival begins daily at 8pm with local bands, continuing the tradition of providing a platform for emerging artists.
This year Iskander Moon, Green Crow Collective and Jack Vamp & The Castle of Creep will grace the Kneistival stage. With their unique talents and mesmerizing voices, they promise to capture the audience's attention from the first moment. But well-known names also appear, with Admiral Freebee and De Mens once again proving why they belong at the top of the Belgian music scene after 20 and 32 years of experience respectively.
Kneistival also went global this year with the arrival of American punk/funk band Thumpasaurus on Friday. On Saturday, the metal will be led on stage by Helmut Luti, who promises to surprise with his impressive set. The closing event on Sunday will be provided by Les Truttes, who will present a completely new and enchanting spectacle.
For the little ones, the Ketnetband returns on Saturday afternoon, with the Kneistival once again promising to be a party for all ages. Put the dates of July 19, 20 and 21, 2024 on your calendar and don't miss this unique festival. For more information visit www.kneistival.be.
