Graspop 2024 canceled at the last minute: Hanabie will not be playing at the Belgian festival after all. The Japanese metalcore band was already scheduled to perform at Metal Done on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.
The band shared a statement via Graspop’s Instagram story: “We are truly sorry to announce that we have to withdraw from our performance at Graspop Festival. Our drummer Chika has injured her wrist, and although we did our best, we can’t risk making it worse.
There would be no replacement for Hanabi. Nothing is progressing either: the updated timeline simply shows a longer gap in the metal dome. However, this means good news for football fans: they can now watch England’s European Championship match against Denmark between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at the Classic Rock Café.
