LG Beton invests in quality, safety and efficiency.

LG-Beton from Oudsbergen, a specialist in the production of precast concrete elements, is taking an important step in the further modernization of its production processes. With an investment of around 350,000 euros, the company wants to take production quality, safety and efficiency to an even higher level.

LG stands for the late Lambert Gerkens, a Limburg contractor who set up his construction company in 1964 with his own production facilities, such as a concrete plant. Today, LG Beton is part of the Altez Construction Group, which has a “soft office” in Oudsbergen. “We produce and supply a wide range of concrete wall elements,” says Alain Griek, Director of LG Beton. “These are mainly used in industrial construction, ranging from insulated and non-insulated panels to decorative finish elements in different colours, thicknesses and heights. We also produce concrete beams and columns.

LG Beton is now taking an important step towards further modernization. “After 24 years, the existing electrical installations of the production hall were in dire need of renovation and improvement,” says Grek. “Thanks to the current investment, LG-Beton workers and managers can now work in an environment that meets the highest standards in terms of safety, ease of use and efficiency.”

“This means that we meet all requirements and can focus to the maximum on achieving our growth path,” the director concludes.
