Easy win thanks to Luis Obinda. The Red Devil was once again invaluable for Leizpig with two goals. The home team left no stone unturned against Cologne and won 6-0.

look. Two great goals for Obinda

The Bundesliga has been introduced to the ‘torhinct’ of Loïs Openda in recent weeks. The Red Devil has already scored six goals in eight matches for his new club, Leipzig. At home against Köln he got another chance to add to that tally.

The home team did not have any kids in the penultimate position in the first half. Werner gave Leipzig the lead from the penalty spot fifteen minutes later, after which Simons and Obenda increased the lead. The Belgian has done it twice. His second goal in particular was particularly impressive. He cut his opponent with the right and finished without hesitation with the left. A real striker’s goal.

Leipzig did not face any problems in the second half either. Obinda continued to search impatiently for his third goal, but was unable to find it. Fifteen minutes before the end, Coach Rose allowed him to rest. His replacement – Benjamin Sisco – put the forfeit numbers on the scoreboard just before the end. Baumgartner completed the humiliation in overtime. A simple 6-0 win for the home team.

Openda played a new leadership role and jumped to third place in the scorers’ rankings. He just has to put up with a top player like Harry Kane (12 goals) and a phenomenon like Serho Guirassi (14 goals).

Thanks to this win, Leipzig sneaked into the top four and is only three points behind leaders Bayern Munich. He is scheduled to visit Wolfsburg on Tuesday in the second round of the German Cup.
