Grand Theft Auto fans hungry for information about GTA 6 aren’t shy about pestering developer Rockstar Games for information in any way they can, and that includes YouTube comments. Unfortunately for those fans, Rockstar seems to be tired of people constantly asking about GTA 6 on the platform, as the phrase seems to be muted now.
As noted by a Twitter user (via right hand), new comments regarding GTA 6 do not appear on an old video on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel. A quick scan showing the latest videos posted on the channel, such as the critically acclaimed GTA V trailer for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, which also seems to be completely lacking in GTA 6 comments. There are no alternative spelling methods, like GTA Six. Rockstar declined to comment for this story.
Those who still want to comment on GTA 6 will have to bring up some creative math issues that haven’t been announced yet in the game as a unique alternate spell or answer to get around the censorship. Of course, fans can still ask Rockstar about the status of GTA 6 via other social platforms such as Twitter. Unfortunately, no real information about the game is known, but this does not prevent fans from speculating about rumors and theories about GTA 6.
GTA 5 was released over eight years ago, so it’s probably no surprise that fans of the franchise are hungry for information about what the next game in the series might hold. While GTA 5 is coming to next-gen consoles and updates for Grand Theft Auto Online have been frequent, prolific, and profitable for parent company Rockstar Games Take-Two, it seems more than a few fans are ready for the next big thing, and they’re not shy when it comes to asking about it.
