In the world of football, Mark Cook is known as the former owner of KV Oostende and as the current big man of RSC Anderlecht. But outside of the world of football, the businessman still has a lot of issues hanging in the fire, one of which has him grinning quite a bit.
Rich or not?
Cook made a very large profit from the sale of Omega Pharma some time ago, but later decided to reinvest almost all of this money into the Belgian economy immediately. The latter certainly doesn't hurt him.
The Ghent resident has now bought almost half of the city of Derby, and together with his husband, Pairi Daiza, he has the most popular zoo in Belgium in his hands. This was accompanied, among other things, by the arrival of the panda, which led to a significant increase in the number of visitors.
