Mellemans-Huysmans takes over management of RCA (Hasselt).

Communications agency RCA in Hasselt is now part of the Glowi Group from Beringen. The RCA gang joins owners Jo Mellemans and Elly Huysmans (recently named Entrepreneur of the Year) within Glowi’s shareholder structure: Bruno Leyssens, Wim Claesen, Sandra Vandoren, Bart Klerckx, Jente Joris and Tom Van den Bergh.

RCA was founded in 1987 by Roger Ramaekers. The company grew slowly until it was taken over by Philippe Bijns. He brought in partners such as Wim Claessen, Sandra Vandoorne and Bruno Leyssens, giving the company wings. Later, former CEO Ivo Klerix and current director Tom van den Berg and his colleagues Bart Klerix and Ginty Joris also joined.
