Three members of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party are on the visitor list of Birgitte Malsach-Vinkmann, the former AfD member imprisoned for trying to overthrow the German government. This is evidenced by a study conducted by the German magazine Stern and the RTL television channel.
A spokesman for the AfD party confirmed the news to the German News Agency (DPA). He added, “The leadership of the parliamentary group is aware of communications that were of a personal nature and not related to the work of the parliamentary group.”
One of the aforementioned party members, Jürgen Boll, answered specific questions about his visits by asking in return: “Wouldn't you be happy with a visit from a third party if you were in prison for more than a year?”
Citizen of the Reich
In December 2022, a number of suspected members of the far-right Reichsberger group were arrested on suspicion of terrorism. According to the German Federal Prosecutor's Office, they made preparations to overthrow the German government.
The suspected leader of the cell is a Frankfurt aristocrat and businessman, Henry XIII Prince Royce. Malsak Venkerman is said to have been a member since August 2021 and used her position as an MP to help some members get around the Parliament buildings. Under the new regime, she would have been assigned the position of justice.
