The Sony/Marvel movie received quite a few negative reviews. For example, the film is currently ranked “Rotten” on Rotten Tomatoes, with a score of just 17%. Now Espinosa is making herself heard, too.

During a recent interview, the director said that of course he regrets the poor reception of the film, but remains proud of his work. Although Espinosa himself can be critical of his own work, he is somewhat satisfied with the way the work is going.
