New night train from Brussels to Venice

New night train from Brussels to Venice

There will soon be a new overnight connection from Brussels to Venice. European Sleeper, known for its night trains from Brussels and Amsterdam to Prague and Berlin, will add Venice to its network in February and March.

During the winter service, the night train will run twice a week and the journey will take approximately 20 hours. This timetable has been designed to accommodate school holidays, the winter sports season and the Venice Carnival.

The company said the new route offers passengers the opportunity to relax in a dining car as they travel through Germany, Austria and over the Alps, ending the next day in the historic cities of Verona and Venice.

Chris Engelsman, co-founder of European Sleeper, says passengers can take the train from Belgium and the Netherlands and relax during the journey, enjoying the scenery as they travel through different countries. The company is also working on providing a daily connection between Amsterdam and Barcelona.

Last year, European Sleeper launched a direct night train between Brussels and Berlin for the first time in more than 10 years.
