Nintendo just released the new update 2.0.5 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Both the base game and Downloadable Content (DLC) Happy Home Paradise It had some glitches and according to Nintendo they have now been resolved with the latest patch.
Here are the full patch notes for Animal Crossing: New Horizons v2.0.5 update:
fixed issues
- Fixed an issue where a player would not be able to advance through Photopia’s explanation under certain circumstances after moving to another island.
- Fixed an issue where the game would not progress after displaying a message when starting a conversation and placing a lot of furniture items on the island.
- Fixed an issue where Luna would repeat the interpretation related to “Search by Island Name”. option again.
- Fixed an issue where islanders were wearing custom designs as a different pattern type than how the custom design would be displayed in the tailoring shop.
- Fixed an issue where an Islander visiting a player’s home would remain in the player’s home after the player used the Room Sketch app, Happy Home Network app, or custom build portal during the visit.
- Fixed an issue where a player could use the door decoration when remodeling an island’s home, but sometimes the door decoration would be removed when a new day started.
- Other tweaks and patches have been made to improve the gaming experience.
DLC-related issues fixed
- Fixed an issue where a player could not advance past the loading screen when trying to return to a vacation home if the player had previously fired an ant or flew into the yard of that vacation home while the conditions for ants or flies to appear were not met.
- Fixed an issue where subsequent events would not progress correctly if a player closed the program during a certain point while working at a facility.
- Other tweaks and patches have been made to improve the gaming experience.
