I worked on it for eleven days, and the world record was set. Nigerian Helen Williams single-handedly created a wig no less than 351 meters long and 28 centimeters long, thus occupying a place in the famous book Guinness World Records.

Not only did it cost Williams a huge amount of effort, but it also cost around €2,300. More than a thousand hair ties were needed for her standard wig, as well as 12 cans of hairspray, 35 tubes of hair glue, and 6,250 hair clips.
Williams has been making wigs for eight years, making between 50 and 300 wigs a week, but it hasn’t been easy for her. She felt “exhausted” trying to make a record. “Friends and family encouraged me. I didn’t want to let them down, so I kept my focus,” she said, still unable to believe what she had done.
Measuring the wig accurately was also a great job. Williams eventually chose a place for himself next to the track between the cities of Lagos and Abeokuta. This measurement was made on July 7. She also tried several other places, such as sports tracks, but they did not succeed. On Tuesday, Guinness World Records recognized the record.
The wig is now on display in her office, where Williams likes to display her record.
