Jairo Riedewald has signed a contract until the end of the season. The agreement includes an option for an additional year.
Jonas de Roeck is already feeling the boost. After the departures of Jurgen Ekkelenkamp and Alhassan Yusuf – and the imminent transfer of Mandela Keita – there is no longer any surplus in Antwerp’s midfield.

The great old Riedewald takes over from Crystal Palace on a free transfer. The 27-year-old Dutchman started his adventure in 2017 with great force. EaglesHe has gone off the rails in recent seasons and his contract has not been extended.

It’s interesting to know that Riedewald made his name and fame at Ajax under… Marc Overmars. We don’t want to suggest that the suspended sporting director had anything to do with the move, but… it could have been a typical transfer for the Dutchman.
