OnLeaks: Google will offer three different Pixel 9 phones this year – Tablets and Phones – News

Google may be planning to launch three different models of Pixel 9 this year. This is what popular leaker OnLeaks claims: In addition to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, a Pro XL variant will also appear. OnLeaks is also publishing the first renders of the “regular” Pixel 9.

From Pixel 9 offers, Which the leaker publishes in collaboration with 91mobilesIt turns out that the dimensions of the smartphone are 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm. The Pixel 9 is said to be 12mm thick at its thickest point because the camera strip on the back protrudes slightly. Unlike the Pixel 8, this camera bar no longer extends across the entire width of the back of the device.

The Pixel 9 is said to have a display with a diagonal of around 6.03 inches. The Pixel 8's screen diagonal is 6.2 inches, so it's larger. It is said that in the upper middle part of the screen there is a hole for the selfie camera. The power and volume buttons will be placed on the right side of the frame, just like on the Google Pixel 8.

91Mobiles did not share specific specifications, but believes that the smartphone will be equipped with Adaptive Touch technology. This is a screen technology that could make the Pixel 9's touch-sensitive panel even more sensitive. This way the screen can continue to work in certain conditions, such as rain. The Pixel 9 is also said to support the Qi2 standard. This enables the smartphone to charge wirelessly at 15W.

OnLeaks shared renders of the Google Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL coming in January this year. Then the leaker thought this was related to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. These images show that Google is using the same updated design language for those devices, including flat sides and a new camera bar. The Pixel 9 Pro will have a 6.1-inch screen, while the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will have a 6.5-inch screen. The Pixel 9 devices are scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024, although the exact release date is not yet known.
