Outer Wilds was showcased today during the Indie World Showcase. After being delayed several times, it was finally revealed that the game will release on Switch on December 7, 2023. A physical version will follow in 2024.
It’s been a long time coming for Outer Wild to appear on a Nintendo console. The game was first announced in February 2021 for release that summer. However, in July of that year, the game was delayed to Holiday 2021. There have been no further updates on the Switch version to this day.
After years of waiting, Anapurna Interactive has finally announced that Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition is coming to us, and in addition to the base game, it also contains the “Echoes of the Eye” DLC.
