Philips Hue also gives the Friends of Hue switches useful new functions

Philips Hue recently improved its Hue Tap switches, and now it's third-party gear's turn as well. When you open the latest version of the Hue app, you should see the following message. “NEW! You can now access timed lighting, scene cycle mode, a 'natural light' scene, improved dimming behavior, and more.”

Update is available according to Hugh's blog Among these improvements:

Activate natural light with the Friends of Hue switch

Activate scenes based on up to 10 time periods

Scene cycle up to 10 scenes

Turn lights on and off with one button

Improved dimming function

So, if you have the option to update your app, now might be a good time to do so. If you still don't see the new functionality of the buttons, also install the new update for your Hue Bridge.
