Textile printing company Printcity is proud to announce that it has invested $3 million in a brand new location. “With this step, we show that Printcity is ready to conquer the world,” says director Jyrke Theis.
The new facility, located in Hasselt a stone's throw from its previous location, includes a 400 square meter showroom, as well as a 1,200 square meter state-of-the-art production space.
The production hall contains advanced machines such as an innovative car wash with water recovery, new embroidery machines and an automated packaging line. Textile printing and embroidery are done at a rate of more than 1,500 pieces per hour.
“With this investment, we plan to double the workforce and achieve significant growth in sales volume by 2026,” says Jerke Theis, Director of Printcity. “Moving to this beautiful location is a major milestone for our company. We want to continue to grow and inspire others. With this investment, we can better serve our customers and reduce our environmental footprint.”
Printcity has deliberately chosen to build this facility with Limburg partners such as Duall, Jansen Interieur & Doe-Het-Zelf, Bouwwerken Noten, Intellitechnics, JOVA Construct, etc. “We want to emphasize local participation and strengthen the Limburg community,” Gehrke concludes. .
