No Eden Hazard (30) on the Real Madrid match sheet on Tuesday night in the Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk. The Red Devils captain has been left out of coach Carlo Ancelotti’s choice to move to Ukraine. During a pre-match press conference, the Italian explained that “no one is more frustrated with injuries” than Hazard himself.

Since his million-dollar move from Chelsea to Royal in 2019, Eden Hazard has faced a lot of physical problems. He has only completed 90 minutes with Real Madrid four times and with just five goals in 51 games, his stats also remain below expectations.
This season seems to be getting better. Hazard has already started five times at Real Madrid and is good for eight games and 382 minutes, but his absence from Donetsk again does not seem like good news. Hazard also had to lose due to muscle problems in the Nations League condolence final against Italy on October 10.
“Hazard is tired of having these problems. He hasn’t hurt but is overburdened,” Ancelotti explained. “No one is more frustrated than Hazard. I think he will be available again against Barcelona or Osasuna.”
Real El Clásico will be played at Barcelona Stadium on Sunday (24 October). Next Wednesday (October 27) a home match awaits Osasuna.
