Rebecca Loos’ children are unaffected by the alleged relationship with David Beckham: “If Messi had…” | celebrities

The alleged affair between David Beckham and Rebecca Loos is said to have lasted four months, and is said to have started when David moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in the 2000s. Loos has since married and now has two sons, aged 11 and 14. The Good Morning Britain presenters wonder how they will cope with the media attention following the Beckham documentary. “I told them about the documentary, about what was said and how my mum felt about it,” Rebecca explains. “I said I think it’s very unfair the way I’m being treated now and the bullying I’m receiving.” She also told them that she wanted to talk about this alleged case in the media. Luce asked her sons what they thought about it. “My youngest son – he looks a bit like me – said: ‘Congratulations, mum, yes I would like to say something too’.”

She explained that Luce’s sons had been aware of her alleged relationship for some time, but they did not yet know exactly who the famous football player was. However, they weren’t really impressed when they were told it was David Beckham. “My eldest son said: ‘Well, I don’t really know anything about Beckham, it’s not like that [Lionel] Messi is my mother, I mean if it was Messi…’

Good Morning Britain presenters say Beckham has always denied allegations of an affair. But Luce disagrees. “He never denied it,” she says. He said my claims were ridiculous. This does not mean denying it, the truth can be ridiculous. Ridiculous is a term lawyers give to their clients when they do not want to admit the truth.

Rebecca added: “I think by not acknowledging his responsibility, he’s sending the message that it’s okay to act this way, and I think that’s the wrong message.” “My message is make mistakes, admit them, apologize and move on, and that’s what I teach my kids. Be honest, apologize and then you can move on with your life.”
