REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) announced that Season 2 of EA SPORTS™ F1® 24, the official video game of the FIA Formula One World Championship, will launch on July 24. Season 2 includes new content that allows players to relive iconic moments from the first half of 2024 and return to historic tracks in the event series with Kick Sauber and Red Bull RacingThe new season also brings new Professional Challenges, Professional Challenge Moments, Racing Scenarios, and an updated Podium Pass, which will put players to the test and include exclusive rewards to unlock.
Season 2 gives players the chance to challenge EA SPORTS Ambassador Max Verstappen and Zhou Guanyu in new Pro Challenges. If they beat Max’s time at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, they’ll earn a brand-new item tied to the current world champion. Those who beat Zhou’s time at the Shanghai International Circuit will unlock the helmet he wore during the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix.
Additionally, two new event series are part of Season 2. Players can relive Valtteri Bottas’ greatest achievements in the Kick Sauber event series, while the Red Bull Racing event series Under Max Verstappen’s skin As he chases his fourth world title, both series feature race scenarios, allowing players to recreate historic racing moments, such as Max Verstappen’s first win in Spain with Red Bull and his fourth consecutive victory in the Netherlands.
