Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian had one of the most talked about, off-again, off-again, off-again, off-again, off-again tech relationships in 2015. The ex-couple has three Kids together: Mason (11), Penelope (9) and Reign (6). Despite their breakup, Scott has always gone on to play a prominent role in Kourtney’s life. They often went on vacation with their kids and Scott still appears regularly in episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. What’s more, Scott has made no secret that he’s still hoping for another chance with Kourtney: “I love you and I’m ready to marry you, here and now,” he said on an episode of KUWTK in February. But that plan appears to have now been put on hold.

A source said, “Scott didn’t really get into Travis and Kourtney’s relationship because he didn’t feel like he had to.” “At first he thought it was just a casual affair, something not too serious. He thought they would eventually break up.” But the opposite has happened and now the reality star has to learn how to handle it: “He realizes he has to accept the situation and put it behind him. He understands that it’s not up to Kourtney or Travis to let him accept this. It’s his own responsibility, and if he still wants to continue parenting shared with Kourtney so smoothly, he should handle that and handle it peacefully.” Moving away from his famous ex-relatives seems to be the best plan for him.

Scott and Kourtney have always been very open about the state of their relationship. Speaking at a KUWTK reunion in June, Kourtney said she and Scott “are amazing friends and parents,” adding that they “are family and always will be.”
