It's been about ten years since Dragon Age: Inquisition came out. Fans have been waiting for the next game in the series ever since. According to a new rumour, we won't have to wait much longer for the next Dragon Age game.
In the Game Chaos Podcast Insider Jeff Grubb says he's heard that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf “will be released this year.” He also says the following about the planned release this year: “They have a lot of confidence in it. That doesn't mean it's a guarantee – it could be delayed – but they now expect it to be released internally later this year.
Although it's not confirmed yet, it seems that EA wants to release Dragon Age: Dreadwolf this year. If this is indeed the case, we expect to see more gameplay footage soon. After all, only a little of the game has been shown so far. The last we saw of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was an in-game cinematic. Release plans are of course subject to change. These types of ambitious games are often put off.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was revealed in December 2018. Since then, we've seen several trailers and concept art for the game, but no actual gameplay footage. It is unknown how different the gameplay will be from previous games. If Grubb is to be believed, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be released roughly six years after its reveal. This means that the game has been in development for some time. So expectations for the game are high.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
