European festivals in 2024 don’t feature ‘Fear of the Dark’, but ‘Tears of the Dragon’. Iron Maiden will skip Europe in 2024 to accommodate frontman Bruce Dickinson’s solo tour.

New ones are now being published via Spanish media Rumors Out: No English to be expected in Europe again until 2025 Bruce Dickinson’s wish to close the European festival summer with his solo project in 2024 is becoming a reality.
We can now pencil in Iron Maiden for the 2025 summer European festivals, where they will once again be a major contender for crosspop. Given frontman Bruce Dickinson’s solo plans for 2024, the band will stick with recently announced dates in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Besides being the frontman of Iron Maiden, the multi-talented Bruce Dickinson is also a pilot, (radio) presenter, writer, marketing director, former fencer who almost qualified for the Olympics in the 1980s and a solo artist. He will most likely reveal the latter again next festival summer. Tour dates have already been confirmed for April and May in Brazil and Mexico. A European date is also on his agenda. June 5-8 Mystic Festival sees Bruce travel to Poland. Along with the Spanish rumour, it now seems certain that Bruce will complete the European festivals solo in 2024.
Bruce Dickinson’s last solo tour was earlier this year; A short speaking tour in Germany and the Netherlands. Fans got their chance in the Netherlands An Evening with Bruce Dickinson To attend 013, Tilburg. A regular European tour was a while back, 2002. Judging by an early June booking in Poland, and April and May tour dates in South America, it seems Brit is looking to change this next summer. Festivals like Crosspop 2024 are also essential for Bruce’s European solo tour.
