Satellite images show that a Russian convoy stretching tens of kilometers outside Kyiv is taking new positions

The footage shows that some elements of the convoy took up new positions in the forests near the village of Lubyanka. The satellite images were taken at 11:37 am Ukrainian time on Thursday.

North of the air base in Hostomil, Russian military vehicles can be seen on the roads in the residential areas of Ozyra, about 27 kilometers from Kyiv.

Tanks and trucks with what Maxar says are launch facilities being erected in a field near Berestjanka. Meanwhile, artillery units were said to have taken combat positions on the edge of the forest near Lubyanka, about 40 kilometers from the center of Kyiv.

The sky cleared on Thursday and Maxar was able to take new photos.
