The series about Addams' daughter Wednesday became a hit at the end of 2022. The series was such a phenomenon that it eventually became the most watched English-language series on the platform. Netflix has soon announced a second season, but it's not yet known when we can expect it.
In the first episodes of the series, we saw how Wednesday experienced her first days of school at Nevermore Academy, with some dark secrets and adventures as a result. Although the first season provided a setting for the early love life of the Adams descendant, Ortega has already announced that this will not be the case in the second season, but on the contrary, it will contain more horror:
“It's really moving more and more in the direction of a horror series. I'm really looking forward to it, because Wednesday, despite everything she's going through, will always be the same person. There's definitely a lot going on next season.”
