Senior project manager in public space

Job title
JS Consultancy is looking for a Senior Public Space Project Manager for a municipality in the Punik region. This job is for 16 hours per week, from June 1st at the latest, for six months. With an option to extend 3 times six months.
As a project leader, you are responsible for coordinating technical work in public spaces, such as road construction and sanitation projects. You can manage the project from initiative to implementation and transfer to manager. You strive for a broadly supported plan using an integrated approach, where you weigh different concerns and facilitate engagement. The ultimate goal is to engage internal and external stakeholders in achieving a successful project outcome. Close cooperation with the environment is essential to the success of the project, where safety, quality, finance, technology, organization and cooperation are fundamental. As a project leader, you are responsible for setting up, managing, monitoring and modifying our projects. You build your own project team and take charge of it.

Your activities include:
* Organizing the start of the project.
* Develop a requirements program.
* Applying for subsidies.
* Budget management.
* Obtaining approval based on the council’s proposal.
* Make a schematic design.
* Apply for environmental permits.
* Conduct various studies such as plants and animals.
* Attention to giving.

Work requirements
As an experienced public space project manager, you possess leadership and analytical skills. Thanks to your communication skills and political sensitivity, you know how to persuade people. As a project leader, you have an eye on the outcome and know how to properly support and coach different project teams.

We also ask:
* At least relevant HBO education, e.g. in civil engineering or other relevant education. * You have several years of relevant experience in creating turnkey projects from A to Z within the physical domain;
* Experience in separating wastewater (municipal and private).
* Experience in project-based work.
* Experience as a manager.
*You have a B driving license.

working conditions
We can deploy you on a secondment basis (under a project contract or as an employee of JS Consultancy, classification according to the client’s collective employment agreement).
