Disney is doing its best to get all Marvel characters back. As part of this, the movie studio acquired 20th Century Fox, so that the X-Men and the Fantastic Four would return to their home at Marvel Studios. And now it looks like Disney is doing its best to buy back Spider-Man characters.
Giant Freakin Robot states that Disney is currently exploring the possibility of purchasing Spider-Man and all related characters from Sony. This would partly stem from the fact that Tom Holland Soon without a contract and we’ll have to talk to Sony again.
Buying a franchise?
It is not known how much money Disney would be willing to pay for the highly successful and profitable franchise from Sony. It’s clear that Sony does its best to produce Spider-Man movies that resonate with audiences.
In fact, as part of this, Sony owns poisonThe universe is in the making, as characters like Mobius will make their debut soon. And more is on the way, with loose connections to the Marvel universe.
In 2019, we first heard that Disney wanted to see if it was possible to buy the Spider-Man franchise from Sony. At that time, people would be willing to pay between $4 and $5 billion.
