Spotify continues to innovate not only to attract new subscribers, but also to prevent existing subscribers from going to the competition. These Spotify features will be available soon.

New Spotify features: This is coming
Spotify stands out mainly because of its very powerful algorithms. This makes it easy to learn new music, and playlists are created with just the right balance between music you listen to often and songs you haven't heard in a while.
But this is not enough. Spotify feels the heat of competition on its neck and therefore needs to innovate. The streaming service initially focused on podcasts, but now more new features are on the way.
1. DJ job
Spotify sees songs being edited by TikTokkers and then becoming huge hits on the video platform. Think of rushed releases of hit songs, for which the artists and record labels see nothing in return.
That's why Spotify comes with DJ functions and reports The Wall Street Journal. Premium users will likely be able to adjust the speed of songs and share these versions with others. The more complex remix features will then be reserved for a more expensive subscription that will be offered soon.
2. Better sound
There's been talk of better audio quality for Spotify for a long time. Spotify HiFi was announced three years ago. But while other music services have long offered lossless audio, Spotify still lags behind.
Better audio is definitely coming to Spotify, but the way it is continues to change. Recently, “Music Pro” appeared in streaming service code. This may be the name of your new subscription, including music in lossless quality.
3. Translated podcast
There are a lot of good podcasts on Spotify, but in many different languages. Artificial intelligence is making it increasingly easier to translate podcasts while preserving the original voices. It then appears as if the podcasters are speaking Dutch or English, while the original podcast is in a completely different language. Spotify is working with OpenAI for this purpose.
Dutch is not yet available as an option, but this may not last long. However, we last heard about this feature in September, so it's not clear what its status is.
4. Audio books
In addition to music and podcasts, Spotify also gets audiobooks. The feature has been available in the US for a while, as part of Spotify Premium. You can then listen to up to fifteen hours of books per month without paying any extra. This means about one book per month.
Spotify has yet to confirm that this feature will also be coming to Europe, but it's hard to be otherwise. An extra book per week can be a reason for many people to get a Spotify subscription.
Latest new features
Spotify also recently received a bunch of new features that you may not be aware of yet. For example, it has recently become possible to watch videos in the app, there is a music facility available and you can create playlists using artificial intelligence.
