“I’ve been taking medications to suppress my hormones for five years. It makes me feel terrible and old,” the model admits. “That’s because Evangelista got a very poor result for the type of tumor. This result indicates you are likely to be diagnosed with cancer again in the future.”
She doesn’t regret the double mastectomy. “I had no doubt about it. It was the right decision for me. I wanted to leave everything behind. Breast cancer won’t kill me,” he said. But last year she found another lump in her chest muscle. It turns out Evangelista has cancer for the second time. “I had surgery again, radiotherapy and chemotherapy,” she recalls. The model also has big scars, but she doesn’t mind them. In fact, she even thinks they are beautiful. “They are my victories and my trophies,” Linda said.
It was a difficult time, one that only a few people knew about. Just a month ago she took her battle against the terrible disease to the public. Fortunately, the experience also brought some positive thoughts. “I thought I could handle anything. I’ve had surgery a few times, but the chemotherapy was very difficult. I know I have one foot in the grave, but I still try to enjoy life as much as I can. I’ve gained a greater appreciation for life.”
