Angèle’s appearance during the concert at Madison Square Garden came as a huge surprise for fans. The Brussels singer’s performance has not been announced in advance. Dua Lipa and Angèle sang their hit song Fever yesterday – to the delight of those present. Last year, it became known that our compatriot was part of the Dua Lipa World Tour. An individual in Brussels can support two dozen Dua Lipa in London. The singers announced this on social media at the time. “I’m slowly making my way across the world and taking my girls with me,” she said on Instagram at the time. In addition to Angèle, British singer Griff and Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo with Dua Lipa were also on stage. Dua Lipa and Angèle met in 2020 when they released the hit song ‘Fever’ together and they instantly became good friends.
Angel will soon be able to give her best on stage. On May 2 and 3, the duo will once again be on stage together. The Belgian doesn’t have such a huge following across the canal, so it’s an excellent opportunity to put her name on the map there too. Angel and Dua Lipa also recorded the clip “Fever” in London at that time. “The circumstances weren’t straightforward or magical, but it was great that we could do it together,” Angel said in a previous interview. The singing duo immediately built a strong friendship. “I think I made a lifelong friend with Angèle,” Dua Lipa said. “I’m really glad I got to know her and that we’re sharing an amazing experience with ‘Fever’.”
Dua Lipa’s journey “Nostalgia for the future” is also coming to our country. On May 6 and 7, the singer will be on stage at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.
