Tanium Automate adds automated security insights

Tanium has introduced Tanium Automate, a new addition to its converged endpoint management (XEM) platform.

Tanium Automate is designed to simplify automation tasks and integrate with existing components such as Tanium Guardian. The tool also works with Microsoft Copilot for Security under the Tanium XEM platform.

With Tanium Automate, IT teams can automate manual processes for repetitive tasks. This includes patching software, deploying applications, and reusing unused software licenses.

Using the tool, teams can automate these tasks with little to no programming, contributing to operational efficiency and saving time for more strategic projects.

The new solution also allows organizations to quickly respond to security risks with automatic notifications of emerging issues such as zero-day vulnerabilities. The tool learns and adapts to the environment, identifies and prioritizes risks based on their safety criticality rating, and recommends actions to operators.

Tanium Automate is currently available to customers and will be generally available within weeks, without the need for a separate license for existing users of the platform.
