It’s old news that the Tetris influence that emerged a few years ago had a subtle level. 1989, an ode to the Game Boy version of Tetris, unlocked through a limited-time event. However, in honor of the series’ anniversary, you can now unlock them permanently by becoming level 50 within the game.
However, this is not the most exciting news from developer Enhance. After all, they also announced how a second hidden level could be unlocked for the same reason. This level is called 1984 and is of course a nod to the first Tetris game. To play this you have to enter a code using the console. On PlayStation, this is the PlayStation controller and it is: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, O, X. On Xbox and Oculus it is: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, True, b, a. But that hasn’t gotten you there yet.
Entering this code will result in a blank screen. Here you have to enter 06061984 on the keyboard, the date of release of the first Tetris. Only then can you play the level.
