Players have recently discovered Tomb Raider I-III Remastered That the Epic Games Store version was better in some ways than the version on Steam and consoles. However, according to Aspyr, this is a “false” version released via the Epic Games Store. Ooops.
The version on the Epic Games Store actually seems to have more polish than the other versions of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, with better textures and simply more detail here and there, for example in terms of backgrounds.
Naturally, players, especially those on other platforms, wanted clarification from developer Aspyr, who has now announced that the version on the Epic Games Store is the wrong one. It will be an incomplete development building with work-in-progress materials. In some areas, this version may actually look better, but in other places there will also be things missing.
Aspyr has now replaced the wrong version on the Epic Games Store with the “correct” version, which should make Tomb Raider I-III Remastered equivalent across all platforms.
I decided to do a post about the differences and additions that the Epic Games version offers. I will share related posts and videos below pic.twitter.com/2FzbsSL0R3
