At this moment nothing is known about the motive and whether the “attack” is also directly linked to the European Championship. It concerns a 27-year-old man of Afghan origin.
The police are likely to be more vigilant after this incident. In any case, all major sporting events are under the magnifying glass due to rising tensions in large parts of the world.
