The fire brigade responds collectively to a fire at a London police station outside

More than thirty fire engines were deployed in London to combat the fire, which threatens to destroy a police station. The building in the east of the city is burning. Local residents are advised to stay indoors, with windows and doors closed.

Thick black smoke billows from Forest Gate Police Station on Romford Road. 175 firefighters are fighting the fire. According to the London Fire Brigade, the entire roof is on fire.

Roads in the area are closed and according to the fire department, people should currently avoid the area. Due to the heavy smoke, local residents should stay indoors as much as possible.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
