The first apparent gay US Secretary of State Pete Pattick and her husband Chaston Gleesman Pattick unveiled their new twins on social media on Saturday. In August, they had already announced that they had become parents, without giving further details.
A black-and-white photo posted on Twitter and Instagram shows a hospital room-like face, with both smiling and each with a cloth-wrapped baby.

“We are delighted to welcome Penelope Rose and Joseph August Pattick to our family,” Pete Pattick wrote. The 39-year-old transport minister tweeted on August 17, “Chaston and I are grateful for all the congratulations we have received since announcing we became parents.”
When he ran as a Democratic candidate in the 2020 presidential election two years ago, the general public became acquainted with Pattijik. Incumbent President Joe Biden eventually won the nomination.
