The first images appeared a few days ago, and tomorrow the trailer for Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II will be released. The poster doesn’t show much so far, but it does promise one thing: the gladiator fight is coming.
The first film from 2000 was a huge success and the epic action spectacle won no less than five Oscars. It is understood that lead actors Russell Crowe (Maximus Decimus Meridius) and Joaquin Phoenix (Commodus) will not return for the sequel.
Big names
But of course there are big names in the film. In addition to the returning Connie Nielsen as Lucilla, we see three of Hollywood’s biggest stars in the film. Paul Mescal plays the most important role, as Lucius Verus, the heir to the empire at the time.
Two other major roles are played by Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal. Washington plays Macrinus, a vengeful former slave who is now a wealthy gladiator and merchant. Pascal is the former general Marcus Acacius who is forced to fight as a gladiator as punishment.

The above mentioned big names are on the bill and we see Lucius getting ready for the upcoming battle. So the first trailer will be released tomorrow and will start showing from the end of November. The second wrestler On the silver screen.
