According to police, there is a good chance two men were waiting at the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat in Amsterdam to photograph the body of Peter R. de Vries after he was shot.

Shortly after the assassination attempt, Amsterdam police explained to De Telegraaf, among others, that they were looking into the two’s role. However, there is currently no evidence of involvement. Almost immediately after Peter R. de Vries was filmed, videos surfaced on social media showing De Vries lying on the floor assisted by passersby. The videos were then sent across the Netherlands via WhatsApp, among other things.
Fixed mobile phone
Police investigations normally focus on the commissioners and perpetrators of the attack, but the creators of these videos are also investigated. “If you want maximum attention, do this. It is suspected that the men were there,” a source said.
Camera images of street cafes, captured by CCTV, show two men in gray calmly following de Vries as he walks through Lange Leidsedwarsstraat towards his car. Remarkably, they both grab their phone without doing anything with it. Dutch website GeenStijl previously also questioned this duo on filming.
