TelevisionFans can prepare for at least two more seasons of the popular series The Handmaid’s Tale. Actress Ann Dowd, who plays Aunt Lydia’s soap opera, revealed in Britain’s Radio Times that there will also be a sixth series.
The fourth season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” aired last year. In 2020, it has already been announced that there will be a fifth season, but the news about another series is not yet known.
Dodd doesn’t know what will happen in both seasons. “The writers are very smart. They don’t tell the actors anything. What can I say about it? Nothing, because I don’t have a clue what’s going to happen. I know there will be seasons five and six.”
Starting this month
Recordings for the fifth series will begin at the end of this month, according to the actress. It was not clear when the season and sixth will be broadcast.
Based on Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name, The Handmade’s Tale is about a fictional religious society in which women no longer have any rights and are used only to have children. Elizabeth Moss plays the main role of John Osborne.
