The HP Elite t755 runs a select version of Windows 10 and comes with several security features with a focus on enterprise environments.
HP has introduced a new thin client with specific hardware for it and not the traditional laptop in a small box. Inside is an AMD Ryzen V2546 processor, which is a 6-core (12-thread) Zen 2 CPU with a TDP between 32 and 50W. This chip was specifically developed by AMD for embedded devices.
You can use the integrated GPU or optional AMD Radeon RX6300 configuration (2GB VRAM).
The HP Elite t755 supports up to 32GB of RAM (DDR4 3200) via SODIMM slots. The internal storage is divided into two M.2 slots that together can provide up to 768GB of storage space. Other specifications include WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for up to six 4K video streams at 60fps.
More connectivity on the front of the device: 1x USB-C (USB Gen 3.2), 2x USB-A (USB 3.1), 1x audio jack. On the back there is room for 4x DisplayPort (v1.2), 4x USB-A (USB 2.0) and 1x RJ45 Ethernet.
The thin client ships with a customized version of Windows 10 for IoT devices. The small box has a size of 50 x 210 x 210 mm.
The HP Elite t755 Thin Client will be available in Benelux from February. The base model starts at €599 excluding VAT.
